Police are looking for a man who allegedly grabbed a teenage girl while she was walking down a street, then sexually assaulted her.

Sex Assault Squad detectives are seeking information about the alleged incident that happened at a town in Western Australia’s south on Saturday night.

About 10.45pm, the 17-year-old girl was walking along Craven Court, near the intersection of Randell Elbow, in Bunbury when she was approached by the man.

“It’s believed the offender and the victim are known to each other,” the police said.

Detectives would like to see any vision between 10pm and 11.30pm that might show people or vehicles on Craven Court or the surrounding area.

CCTV or dashcam vision can be uploaded directly to investigators.
