Toddler who wandered off with the family dog found safe after night alone
A little girl has survived a night alone after she wandered off from her family’s rural property in southwest Queensland.
The child, 3, was reported missing with the family dog on Friday about 3pm from her family’s property at Cherry Gully, 30km south of Warwick.
She had been walking with the pet and her grandfather when she wandered off.
Police and emergency services conducted an air search of the 4,000 hectare property.
Rough terrain made the search difficult but the three-year-old and the dog were found on the property, about 2km south from the home, on Saturday about 8am.
She has minor cuts and abrasions.
