Alcoholic ginger beer recalled for being too alcoholic

An alcoholic ginger beer has been recalled because it contains too much alcohol.

The beverage available for sale at bars and pubs in Queensland as well as at its producer Aether Brewing, is deemed a risk to those who drink it as it may surpass its marked alcohol percentage of 4.3 per cent.

Affected cans have a production date stamp of June 29 and are 375ml in volume.

The can may also pop open due to a second fermentation, posing another potential hazard.
