Giant apocalyptic dust cloud blankets Victoria
A dust storm has passed through the northwest city of Mildura, as a cold front moved across Victoria.
The storm, brought by strong winds of up to 90 km/h, rolled over Mildura about 5pm on Tuesday, darkening the city and reducing visibility.
Weather bureau duty forecaster Christie Johnson said the dust storm resulted in poor visibility at the Mildura airport for about half an hour.
