The first season of the Fraiser reboot is available to stream on Paramount+ in full now, having debuted in October 2023. A release date for the second season has yet to be announced.

Frasier first appeared onscreen as a guest character on Cheers, he was introduced in the show's third season before soon becoming a regular fixture of the sitcom until it ended in 1993.

The character's popularity led to him getting his own spin-off which ran from 1993 to 2004 for 11 seasons.

A new season of Frasier has landed. Is it sweeter than one of the character's beloved fine wines or has this new batch of episodes been scrambled on their way to the screen? Thankfully, we've got a batch of reviews that'll help us find out.

The Evening Standard seemed quite happy to return to Dr. Crane's therapist chair, suggesting "it's like he's never been away." The same outlet went on to explain that the show isn't "breaking any new ground, but this reboot stays true to what made Frasier popular and funny, and manages to age the character and his concerns without jumping the shark."

Meanwhile, The Independent took a more middling approach, calling Grammer's return an "unsettling collision of Nineties sitcom tropes and present-day sensibilities." However, The Telegraph was into it, labelling these new episodes "a brilliant mingling of physical and psychological comedy."

When Frasier originally ended in 2004 its titular character was on his way to Chicago to start a new chapter in his life, but the reboot sees the psychiatrist heading back to Boston.

Ready to start the next chapter in his storied professional and personal life, the character faces new challenges, form new relationships and also attempt to fulfil his one or two of his old dreams.
