First boyfriend for Susan Boyle
S *usan Boyle *has landed herself her first boyfriend, an American doctor.
The 53-year-old star met the medic - whom she describes as the "perfect gentlemen" - at her hotel during the Florida leg of her US tour and, after enjoying a romantic lunch date, she's now hoping he'll come over to the UK to visit her in her native Scotland.
"It's very early days so we'll see what happens. I hope he comes over," Boyle, above, told British newspaper The Sun.
"I don't want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him. All I'll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy."
Boyle is hoping to impress her new beau with a new skill the next time she sees him, admitting she's been taking tap-dancing lessons "just for fun".
