Fire Country star Max Thieriot traded his firefighter uniform for a pair of cowboy boots and stepped out for country's biggest night.

The actor is currently working on season 2 of the hit CBS drama, but he took some time away from filming to attend the 2024 CMT Awards in Nashville on April 7. While he was on hand to present the Breakthrough Female Video award on stage, he used the pre-show portion of the ceremony to enjoy a rare public date with his wife of 11 years, Lexi Murphy, with whom he shares sons Beaux and Maximus.

For the couple's glamorous night out, they stunned in matching ensembles for the red carpet. Max decided to bring a mix of Hollywood and country by wearing a sleek dark blue suit, which he paired with a white and blue gingham shirt, brown boots and his longer hair slicked back. Lexi embraced a similar hue for her jaw-dropping look, which featured a sleeveless midi dress with dark and light blue flowers all over, black heeled sandals and a slim belt for a bit of extra dimension. She styled her blonde hair in a loose bun with framing pieces and wore natural makeup to complete the vision.

When Fire Country's official Instagram posted a behind-the-scenes clip of Max and Lexi walking the red carpet, folks immediately bombarded the comments with how much they loved seeing the married duo.

"Slay 🔥🔥 my favorite couple!" one person rejoiced. "The prettiest people ever 😍❤️," another exclaimed. "Max seems like such a down to earth, kind hearted guy! They are both pure magic together ❤️ Gorgeous couple," a different follower declared.

While Max certainly looked polished for his on-camera moment, things are looking a bit more ragged for his character Bode on Fire Country season 2. As new episodes drop every Friday night at 9 p.m. ET on CBS, fans will get to see Bode try to move forward after a devastating loss. Plus, a new sheriff is coming to town on April 12.
