Body of missing Sydney teen found
The body of a missing teenager from Sydney’s Northern Beaches has been found after an extensive search by SES volunteers.
Police called in members of the NSW State Emergency Service on Saturday morning to help assist searching for Grace Green.
The 19-year-old was last seen on Wednesday at Palm Beach.
She was reported missing two days later and police immediately commenced an investigation due to concerns about her welfare.
But on Saturday afternoon, NSW Police shared that in the search they had found a body they believe to be the missing teenager.
“While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the 19-year-old woman,” a spokesman said.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
