Family mourns mum’s hit and run death outside her home
A family is grieving after a mother-of-three was killed when she was hit by a car outside her house in Victoria.
Gayle Potter, 46, died outside her home at Traralgon in the Latrobe Valley on Tuesday about 8.30pm.
It’s alleged her ex-husband, Glenn Martyn, 53, was behind the wheel.
It’s further alleged Mr Martyn drove off as paramedics tried desperately to save the 46-year-old.
Friends have told Seven News Ms Gayle was an extremely popular and dedicated mother.
Her children rode horses around the paddocks in the front yard, and she was always wearing a big smile.
The case was in the hands of major crash investigators but they have handed it over to the homicide squad.
Mr Martyn has been charged with murder.
