Video may reveal clues to final moments of teen who died in walk-in freezer

A Facebook live video is being investigated by police who think it could hold clues into the death of a teenager who's body was found in a walk-in freezer.

Kenneka Jenkins, 19, did not return to her Chicago home after attending a party at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center in Rosemont on Friday night.

During a search on Saturday, Ms Jenkins' family and police found her body in the hotel freezer.

Police are now reviewing a Facebook live video, filmed at 1.36am on Saturday, of the girl's friends listening to music in the hotel room, Newsweek reported.

The clip, posted by Monifah Shelton, shows a woman talking to the camera and some have said they can see Ms Jenkin's in the reflection of the woman's sunglasses.

The six-minute video has been viewed online more than four million times.

“[Police] are leaving no stone unturned as far as trying to corral everyone they can, and talk to them and interview them about what happened and what was going on that night,” spokesman for Rosemont village, Gary Mack, said.

Ms Jenkins’ mother Tereasa Martin said she believes someone in the hotel "killed her child."

The office of the medical examiner are awaiting the results of a toxicology test.
