Actor Ashley Park revealed her recovery from a severe illness that led to her hospitalization earlier this month.

Park’s announcement: On Friday, Park announced on Instagram that while she was on vacation in December into New Year's, she developed tonsillitis, which escalated into critical septic shock, infecting multiple organs. Despite initial concerns, Park expressed gratitude for her now improved health.

“As I sit here processing and recovering from the first few weeks of 2024, the only word I can think of is grateful,” Park wrote. “I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told… I hesitated to share what’s been happening as I’m still in the throes of recovery…but I now know I’m safely on the other side of the worst.”
