Emily Andre wants kids to think about their mental health
Emily Andre is determined to encourage children to think about their mental health.
The 34-year-old doctor - who has Amelia, ten, and Theo, seven, with her husband Peter Andre - has written a new book that helps kids to really understand their emotions.
Emily - who is also step-mum to Princess, 16, and Junior, 18 - told Heat magazine: "I think the real aim for me is trying to get kids to think about their mental health - understanding themselves and their emotions, and hopefully taking those good habits through to adulthood."
Emily is keen to provide some "strategies" that can help children to deal with their emotions.
The author shared: "I try to explain that having a whole range of emotions is completely normal.
"We're aiming the book at eight to 11-year-olds, and trying to teach them a whole range of skills and strategies to help manage when their emotions feel intense or they are struggling."
Emily is currently pregnant with her third child.
But Peter admitted in 2023 that he still wasn't sure if he would have any more children or not.
The 50-year-old pop star - who has been married to Emily since 2015 - said on 'The Secret To' podcast: "Children … I was like, when I get to 50 I'm done and then I find myself having conversations with [Emily] going, 'Yeah you know, if we did have another child, where would we put Junior?'
"I can't even believe we have those conversations and that makes me think that I just don't know, it's just one of those things. It's just weird that we even have those conversations, so I don't know.
"Listen, us guys can wishful think all we like, right, but it's going to be up to her."
