Eight-year-old girl 'assaulted after man climbs into bedroom window'
An eight-year-old Sydney girl has allegedly been indecently assaulted by a man who climbed through her bedroom window.
Police say the child was asleep when the man, believed to be in his 50s, climbed onto her bed at a home in Barker Street, Kingsford, in the city’s east, in the early hours of Monday.
The girl, who was not physically injured, told her mother who contacted police.
Officers believe the home invader was wearing a dark hooded jumper and had an Australian or English accent.
