As Aussies get ready for the Easter long weekend, find out what major stores will be open over each day of the holiday break.

Easter is almost upon us and Aussies across the country are stocking up on chocolate eggs and other goodies, while gearing up for a much-needed break with family and friends.

Major stores including Coles, Woolworths and Aldi will close their doors on Good Friday and many operate with restricted trading hours across Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday, so shoppers are encouraged to prepare in advance to ensure they don't miss out.

Coles
