Domino's giving away free car and $5,000 worth of fuel - but there's a catch

Domino’s has today announced a competition for pizza and car lovers alike, offering a brand-new vehicle and fuel to one lucky winner.

Through a partnership with Toyota Australia, Domino’s is offering a pizza enthusiast a free Toyota Yaris SX valued at over $26,000.

The lucky winner will also get a reprieve from soaring fuel prices, nabbing a $5,000 fuel voucher, as well as first-year free servicing worth $215.

But there’s a catch – the four-door car is wrapped in pepperoni pizza decals from top to bottom.

One lucky runner-up will be rewarded with a year’s supply of free Domino’s pizza, valued at $1,346.

To enter, applicants are required to submit a 30-second video to Domino’s via their official competition link, explaining why they are Australia’s biggest pizza lover.

The competition runs from March 28 to April 11, with winners being announced on April 13, 2022.

Prize car same as majority of Domino's delivery fleet

Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer Vin Naidoo said the car company's collaboration with Domino’s was fun and unexpected.

“For many years we have been helping deliver pizza across Australia with the Toyota Yaris being the most popular car among Domino’s drivers and now one lucky Australian has the chance to win their own.”

Domino’s ANZ Chief Marketing Officer Adam Ballesty said first prize is more than just a car, but moreso a means to deliver a slice of happiness to the winner.

“Pizza brings people closer and now it will get one lucky pizza lover from A to B as well,” he said.

“Nobody delivers like Domino’s and this one-of-a-kind pepperoni pizza car will definitely deliver plenty of smiles.

“It’s also the exact model of the majority of our delivery fleet – so you know it’s safe, reliable and comes smelling like fresh, hot pizza (okay maybe not initially, but give it time).”
