Disturbing twist after death of nine-month pregnant woman
A man accused of killing a woman and her unborn baby has been revealed as the baby’s father, according to her family.
Felicia Jones, 21, was found dead in a park in Jacksonville, Florida, last week from a gunshot, Action News Jax reports.
She was nine months pregnant and expecting her child, a boy named Ma’kailand, on October 8.
Ms Jones was discovered by someone walking in the park, First Coast News reported.
Reginald Perry, 19, was arrested on Thursday and charged with two counts of second degree murder.
Ms Jones’s friend Mikkyla Holliday told Action News Jax, Perry was the father of Ms Jones’s unborn child.
“He wanted the baby, so hearing that he did this; nothing is adding up. It doesn’t really make sense to me,” she said.

Friends and family believe the pair were still in a relationship. They said Perry had been using FaceTime to take part in Ms Jones’s medical appointments and was trying to get a job to support her and their unborn son.
Angelica Williams, Ms Jones’s aunt, told First Coast News the entire family is “distraught”.
“She was a beautiful person inside and out,” she said.
“She was super excited about being a first-time mum.”
