Disturbing 'torture' video emerges after Aussie girl invited to house party
Charges have been laid after alleged footage of the violent and protracted incident circulated on social media.
WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT — Three teenage girls have been charged after a 13-year-old girl was lured to a Queensland home where she was allegedly cut with a knife while she was filmed and subjected to several hours of "torture".
After being invited by the girls aged 12, 13 and 14 to the Sunshine Coast home, police allege the victim was prevented from leaving and was filmed while being assaulted, taunted and cut with a knife over the period of several hours. The graphic acts were allegedly posted to social media.
The mum of the victim confirmed to The Courier Mail her daughter was invited to what she believed was a "party" at the home in Tewantin, only to be confronted with something much darker.
“Physically (my daughter) should be dead,” she told the publication.
Alleged footage of the incident, still being shared online, shows the teen girls repeatedly punching their victim in the face and verbally taunting her.
“Her face was unrecognisable (after the attack), it was very scary. She got stabbed in the knee, it just missed her tendon but she also has a fractured wrist.
“Her face was swollen to a degree that you couldn’t recognise her … it looked like her head was going to explode.”
The 13-year-old was also allegedly told they would "kill her family" if she uttered a single word to anyone, the mother told the Courier Mail.
