Disturbing footage after two shootings

Unnerving footage has revealed the moments surrounding the first of two shootings to occur on NSW’s Mid North Coast, believed to be “linked and targeted”.

Police released security camera footage as part of an investigation into the attacks which both occurred on Wednesday August 23 in Wauchope.

At about 10.55pm emergency services were called to a home on Trade Circuit after receiving reports that shots had been fired.

Attending officers found several shots had been fired into a building and a car after a man was seen fleeing the scene in a sedan.

Although three people were inside the building at the time of the incident, noone was injured.

Soon after received another report of a “gun going off” at a property in High St.

While two adults were inside the second targeted home, neither were injured.

In a statement, police said initial inquiries suggested the two incidents were “linked and targeted”.

Police are now looking for a man captured on CCTV footage on Trade Circuit at the time of the first shooting who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
