Disabled teen sexually assaulted walking along Melbourne road

A teenage girl with an intellectual disability was sexually assaulted as she walked along a road in Melbourne’s south-east, police say.

A man aged 30-40 approached the 15-year-old on Chesterville Road, Cheltenham on Saturday 24 June at 12.40pm.

Police say he had a short conversation with the girl and then assaulted her.

Investigators have released security footage and a computer generated image of the man.

He is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, have short brown hair, unshaven and wearing a baseball cap.
