Delivery driver allegedly bashed and threatened with gun

Police are searching for two men after it’s alleged they held up a delivery driver with a gun and stole his car in Sydney’s south.

Delivery driver Zheng Jiefu, 25, had just returned to Skewers Restaurant at Narwee on Friday night when he was confronted by three armed men.

Mr Jiefu said he was “very scared” he was going to be shot. He gave up his car and two of them took off with his 2007 Toyota Rav 4 but not before he suffered a blow to the head, which required five stitches.

The 25-year-old, who’s also studying in Sydney, said about three weeks ago a colleague also had their car stolen at gun point.

Mr Jiefu described his attackers as Middle Eastern or Mediterranean in appearance.
