'Dangerous clown': Anthony Mundine slammed over controversial anti-vax claims

Anthony Mundine has been slammed on social media after taking an anti-vaccination stance imploring parents not to vaccinate their children.

Mundine took to social media to warn parents to “do your research” before vaccinating their children.

“Don’t vaccine your kids period! The government bully you into vaccine! Do your research on the s*** & watched the documentary vaxxed,” he wrote on Twitter.

His post was accompanied by a video from the 1 Million Africans: Trilogy’s The Breakfast Club, which is an American program that was discussing the relationship between vaccines and health issues.

Mundine’s comments were immediately labelled “dangerous” on social media with some calling for him to delete the post.

His comments also come after NSW Health warned Sydney residents to be aware of measles after 35 people have had symptoms since Christmas.
