The sickening moment bride-to-be is knocked out in Hungry Jack's on her hen's night
A harrowing video of a bride-to-be getting knocked out on her hen's night has shocked a Sydney court.
When the security video was played in court, loud gasps and deep breaths could be heard from the public gallery.
Several of the alleged victim's friends and family covered their faces in horror.
CCTV shows bride-to-be Lauren Estabillo hit John McFadyen at a Hungry Jack's on her hen's night. The footage shows her move toward him again.
She is then pushed to the ground so hard she breaks her collarbone and is knocked unconscious.
Estabillo told the court on Thursday: "He came towards me... I had a sensation of not having my feet on the ground... I don't remember much after that... I woke up on the ground."
The confrontation began in the early hours of March 12 inside the Wynyard Hungry Jack's in Sydney.
The 29-year-old's friends got into a heated argument with another group which turned violent.
A man with the accused lashed out. Mark Ambrose Shepherd knocked one woman out cold, then continued swinging.
He has already pleaded guilty to five counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and affray.
McFadyen faces two charges, including assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
The hearing continues.
