Coronation Street's Jude Riordan pays tribute as co-star bows out

Coronation Street actor Jude Riordan has paid tribute after one of his co-stars made their final appearance in the latest episode.
Last night's (April 17) instalment saw the character Eliza Woodrow announce that she was moving to Germany to spend more time with her father Dom Everett, much to the disappointment of her grandfather Stu Carpenter, and friends Sam Blakeman and Hope Stape.

Sam actor Jude shared a photo of himself, Eliza actress Savannah Kunyo, and Hope star Isabella Flanagan to his Instagram, with Savannah holding flowers and a bag of gifts.
"We miss you lots Savannah," Jude wrote in the caption. "Had the best times."
In the episode, Stu eventually decided that he was going to go to Germany with her, at least for a short while in order to help Eliza settle in. He told Yasmeen that he would love to return and make a fresh start with her, if she would be willing to do that.

During her two and a half years on the ITV soap, Eliza was involved in some big storylines — including the hit-and-run car crash that helped bring down bully Mason.
