Convicted rapist on the run after removing GPS tracking bracelet in Queensland
Queensland police remain on the hunt for a convicted sex offender who might have removed his electronic monitoring bracelet after going missing.
Damien Kennedy was last monitored in Salisbury, Brisbane's south, just after 4pm on Monday.
The 28-year-old, who has a history of breaching court orders, was sentenced to 9 years jail in 2008 and has been back in custody several times since.
He is described as 171cm tall, 125kg with a fair complexion, blue eyes, clean shaven with black hair.

Kennedy has a number of tattoos including "Southside" printed across his neck, “love & hate” written on his right inner forearm, “TROLL” printed on his shoulder, a full sleeve tattoo, an Asian character on his right hand and “RUN A” printed on his knuckles.
He also has “Muck” printed on his left knuckles along with a number of other tattoos.
Kennedy is believed to have removed his electronic bracelet and is considered dangerous.
