Compton rapper shot in head with AK-47
WARNING GRAPHIC: Blood can be seen dripping down a Compton rapper's face after he was shot in the head with AK-47 bullet fragments.
Teriq Royal claims he was caught up in gunfire and hit by three stray bullet fragments as he filmed himself at a petrol station in California, telling the camera "I just got shot."
The rapper posted the disturbing video to his Facebook page with this twisted description.
“Three frags stuck in my forehead for life. They stopped right on my skull before they could enter my brain,” Royal wrote.
"God is real yall! Take this life s*** serious ! I was almost on a T-shirt."
Royal later posted his X-ray image on Facebook and wrote: "Yes me and the homies got shot at couple days ago. AK-47 bullet flew past my head and I was hit with the bullet fragments, three frags stuck in my forehead for life."
The fragments only missed his brain by centimetres and they will be permanently lodged in the rapper's skull.
"I'm just blessed to see another day and rap about it," Royal wrote on Facebook.
The video has reached over 488,000 views since being uploaded.
