Commuter chaos after crash on motorway
Emergency services responded to a crash involving three cars at a scene along the M2 Mwy southbound in Macquarie Park just before 8am on Thursday.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson confirmed three people were taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital with minor injuries.
One car was seen flipped on its side as a result of the incident.
Two city bound lanes were cordoned off as emergency services worked to reach those injured and clear the vehicles involved in the crash.
The crash caused traffic chaos for just under an hour until the site was finally cleared just before 9am, with no further delays expected for morning commuters heading into the city.
It is not yet known what caused the incident or what exact injuries were inflicted as a result of the crash.
