Comedian charged with defacing memorial for Eurydice Dixon

A man has been charged with defacing the memorial of murdered comedian Eurydice Dixon.

Fellow comedian Andrew Nolch was arrested at his home in North-East Melbourne.

The 31-year-old is accused of vandalising the makeshift memorial for Ms Dixon with lewd markings.

He claimed he did it as an attack on feminism and planned to get caught.

Ms Dixon was allegedly raped and murdered while walking home in a Melbourne path last month.

Mr Nolch has been bailed to front the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court in August.
