Police in Pueblo, Colo., are searching for two children who haven’t been seen since 2018 after the remains of a child were found in a metal container.

On Jan. 10, police found the child’s remains in a container filled with concrete inside a storage unit, the department said in a release, adding that it was investigating the case as a homicide. The Pueblo County Coroner has not yet identified the victim.

As part of the investigation, police said they are now trying to locate Jesus Dominguez and Yesenia Dominguez, who have not been seen since the summer of 2018, when they were around 5 and 3 years old, respectively.

It is not immediately clear how the two children are connected to the remains found in the metal container.
