Check your ticket: Search on for mystery $20m lottery winner
A New South Wales resident is $20 million richer – and there’s every chance they don’t even know it yet.
The only division one winner from Tuesday night’s $20 million Oz Lotto draw is yet to come forward and claim their prize.
As the entry is unregistered, NSW Lotteries officials have no way to contact the state’s newest multi-millionaire, so they are urging everyone to check their tickets.
The ticket was purchased at News On William in Bathurst, with owner saying the entire town is buzzing with excitement at the thought one of their own is $20 million richer.
“This is the biggest prize our outlet has ever sold! It’s so incredibly exciting!” he exclaimed.
“We’ve had plenty of customers coming in to check their tickets, hoping it’s them!
“We hope our winner realises their good fortune sooner rather than later.”
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said she couldn’t wait to break the life-changing news to the Bathurst player.
“If you realise you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1302 on Tuesday 29 January 2019 were 22, 38, 27, 26, 35, 4, and 19 while the supplementary numbers were 25 and 36.
