Can you spot the snake in this garden bed?

A sneaky snake hidden in a home owner’s garden has made for one heck of a guessing game after it disguised itself in an unexpected position.

Snake Catchers Servicing Paddington, near Brisbane in Queensland, uploaded a tricky photo of the snake to Facebook on Friday, asking their followers if they could spot it.

The page, which often challenges social media users with similarly puzzling photos, left the door open for guesses for an entire day before giving away the answer.

In a photo of a small section of garden with pebbles and a plethora of pot plants, several submitted their suspicions in comments to the post.

Some singled out certain plants, while others thought the snake could be hidden on the ground covered by some leaves.

When the wait was over, the snake catchers revealed the true location of the sneaky reptile.

A small part of the reptile’s body could be seen poking out from behind a water heater fixed to the brick wall bordering the garden area.

“It was a carpet python behind the water heater,” admin for the page wrote.

“Well done to those who were able to spot it.”

They noted how some Facebook users had a special talent in turning “absolutely anything into a snake”.
