Brother's heartbreaking tribute to Aussie dad, 27, found dead in motel
Queensland dad Tyeson Mackie is being remembered by friends and family.
Heartbroken friends and family have paid tribute to a young Aussie dad whose body was found in a motel room on Saturday morning.
Tyeson Mackie, 27, was found "unresponsive" at the Carrier-Arms Hotel Motel in Maryborough, Queensland at around 9:30am. His "sudden" death is not being treated as suspicious, Queensland Police said.
The death of the young dad has prompted an outpouring of grief on social media. His brother Lachie Mackie said he's "so f***ing lost for words" in a gut-wrenching post on Facebook.
"This is not meant to be, our family is hurting so f***ing bad," Lachie wrote on Monday. "I love you so much, my brother. I thank you for everything you have taught me in life, the good and the bad!"
The heartbroken sibling — who is one of three boys — paid tribute to his "role model" and "best friend" and vowed that Tyeson's two young children will be "forever protected".
"Never in my life [did] I picture this to happen — it’s so unfair. I have so much I just want to talk to you about, you taught me so much in life," he continued. "May you rest in peace you beautiful [soul], I’m going to miss you so much, but I know you will also be by my side. Until we meet again my brother, I love you".

Another friend admitted he was "shattered" to lose his "best mate".
"All I got to say is I’m shattered (my) best mate for as long (as I know) and can remember has been taken away too early," he said. Others admitted they're "still coming to terms" with the sudden death agreeing the 27-year-old was "taken too soon".
A GoFundMe page has been set up to "raise money for the Mackie family following the tragic loss of their eldest son Tyeson". On Wednesday, $3,600 had been raised.
Tyeson's cause of death has not yet been determined.
