Boy, 15, in life-threatening condition after Brampton stabbing
A 15-year-old boy is in life-threatening condition after he was stabbed in a Brampton park on Friday, Peel police say.
Police said the stabbing took place in Clark Park, near Dixie Road and Clark Boulevard. Officers were called to the scene at about 5 p.m. for a report of fight with injuries.
Paramedics took the boy to a trauma centre.
Investigators said they are looking for between five and six suspects and all are believed to be minors.
It is unclear whether this number includes bystanders who were fleeing the scene, police told reporters at the scene Friday night.
There was a heavy police presence in the park on Friday evening.
Police are seeking security camera footage from residences in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators.
