Escudero was leading George on two of the three judges scorecards, but the American was able to capitalise during some dirty boxing.

After ducking and weaving some punches, Escudero stayed low before George unleashed a savage uppercut that knocked his opponent clean out.

‘Vicious left-uppercut, by Joe Geroge the phenom with the phenomenal finish in the rematch,” the commentator said.

Fans went crazy over the blockbuster finish which was hailed a contender as a ‘knockout of the year’ contender.

Escudero wasn’t able to move until halfway through the count, but his rigid attempt to lift his head was proof he was not conscious.

George praises his gameplan

“I was setting him up with the jab to the body and had him leaning over a little,” George said.

“I wanted him to get relaxed and that’s exactly what he did. He was relaxed, I slipped over and shot it. Really, he gave it to me and I had to take it and put him down.”

The first fight ended in a controversial split-decision in favour of George.

George moved to (11-0, 7 KO’s), while Escudero dropped to (10-2) after the devastating knockout.
