A Melbourne supermarket was evacuated on Tuesday morning after the bomb squad was called in to investigate a suspicious package.
The Arson and Explosives Squad was called to the Woolworths supermarket in Ashwood after reports of the suspect article.
The supermarket southeast of the city was evacuated as a precaution while the specialist police officers carried out their investigation.
A spokeswoman for Victoria Police told 7 News Online the supermarket has been given the all-clear and operations have returned to normal.
