Biden rallies voters in Atlanta in post State of the Union campaign swing: Watch live
President Biden, who launched a new campaign swing following his State of the Union address, is set to deliver remarks in Atlanta on Saturday evening.
Biden is also expected to announce the $30 million endorsement from key groups focused on voter equality including the Latino Victory Fund, AAPI Victory Fund and the Collective PAC.
The president’s likely challenger in November, former President Trump, is holding a dueling event in the Peach State Saturday. His “Get Out the Vote Rally” in Rome, Ga. — more than 60 miles northwest of Atlanta — is taking place around 5 p.m. EST.
Biden narrowly won Georgia by tight margins in 2020, with 49.5 percent of the vote compared to Trump’s 49.2 percent.
The president’s event is expected to begin at 6:15 p.m. EST.
