Barnaby Joyce's baby boy pictured for the first time at airport

First pictures of Barnaby’s baby, obtained by Seven News, show the newborn sleeping soundly at Armidale Airport, in NSW, while being cradled by his mum, Vikki Campion.

Mr Joyce is seen watching on.

Sebastian was born three weeks ago after Mr Joyce quit as deputy prime minister and National Party leader when his relationship with Ms Campion was revealed.

Sebastian is Mr Joyce’s fifth child and Ms Campion’s first.

Rumours of Mr Joyce’s affair with his former staffer and her subsequent pregnancy surfaced during the by-election in Mr Joyce’s New England seat in October 2017, but weren’t publicly confirmed.

Early this year 50-year-old appeared on national television to admit his marriage had broken down after news of his new relationship made headlines around the country.

On February 22, he announced his resignation as Nationals leader and deputy prime minister after weeks of fallout surrounding his affair.
