Nine-month-old girl dies after car rollover on dirt road

A nine-month-old girl has died after a car rollover in southeast Western Australia.

The baby was in a car which rolled on a dirt road about 15km from Collie on Saturday about 10.40am (local time). Collie is about 200km south of Perth.

She received critical injuries and was taken by ambulance to Collie Hospital where she died a short time later.

The driver and an adult passenger received minor injuries.

The car was towing a caravan at the time, The West Australian understands.
