Baby found in police raid of drug laboratory
Police have found a clandestine drug laboratory in a raid on a western Sydney family home.
Members of the Asian Crime Squad raided the Liverpool home this morning and discovered a kilogram of of what’s believed to be ‘ice’ (methylamphetamine) as well as various chemicals.
Living in the home was a family including a 12-month-old baby.
Arrested at the scene was a 38-year-old man who was taken to Green Valley Police station. Two other men aged 46 and 56 were arrested during a car stop on the Hume Highway.
The men were charged with the large commercial manufacture of prohibited drugs. The younger man was also charged with exposing a child to the manufacture of prohibited drugs.
Police from Strike Force Grandview also raided a home in Ryde and seized a small amount of methylamphetamine, glassware and unidentified chemicals.
