The 'Girlfriend' singer is rocking a stunning 14-carat pear-cut diamond - a full 10 carats more than the one ex-husband Derryck Whibley gave her in 2005 - after the Nickelback singer popped the question on August 8 following a whirlwind courtship that began when the two worked together on her upcoming fifth album. A ring of that size would stand out on anyone's finger, but for petite 5'1" Lavigne, it almost takes over her entire left hand!
Kroeger, 37, picked out the sparkler at XIV Karats Beverly Hills on one of the last days they recorded together, according to HELLO! Canada magazine, which also has an exclusive shot of the rock.

The Grammy-winning singer hasn't said what kind of price tag came with the ring, but online jeweler BlueNile.com estimates that one of this size would have set him back at least $800,000 - that comes out to roughly $4,444 for every day of the six months that Lavigne and Kroeger have been together.
But don't expect to see the two walking down the aisle just yet. A friend tells People that the rockers haven't set a date yet, adding, "They're really enjoying this moment."
Lavigne, 27, who on Wednesday re-tweeted many of the well wishes she received on her engagement news, also tells the magazine that her new fiancé "makes me laugh every day. He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive."
