Aussie hospitals scrap restricted visiting hours in radical overhaul
Three of Sydney’s major public hospitals are set to take part in a world-leading initiative that will see visiting hour restrictions scrapped.
They’re conducting trials of 24/7 visiting, with wards even being upgraded to allow overnight visitors.
The radical overhaul is likely to be expanded to every public hospital across the state and possibly the country.
