Angry note left after Uber Eats stolen from foyer

There are few pleasures simpler in life than the lazy Uber Eats delivery, so you can only imagine one Melbourne man’s disappointment when he discovered his much-anticipated crispy pork wrap had been stolen just after it was delivered.

The devastated apartment resident revealed his pain in a letter addressed to the food thief, who a pounced on the $51 haul of food in the four minutes it was left unattended.

Scorcher Davidson, an employee at radio station 3AW, discovered the note which gave the resident one chance to reimburse the scorned Uber Eats customer.

“I hope you enjoyed my ‘Biggie Smalls’ crispy pork wrap and chips,” the disgruntled neighbour wrote in the letter.

“I have confirmation from the app and driver that it was delivered at 9.44pm on Tuesday the 25th of April.

“The food was only left unattended for a maximum of 4 minutes while I finished my phone call and went down in the lift to the foyer entrance.”

The hangry Melbournian said they had spoken to the building manager and would now be rifling through CCTV footage in a bid to track down the culprit.

“If this was you and you are super embarrassed I am giving you the opportunity to anonymously leave the cash in my letter box,” they added.

“Unfortunately, if I don’t receive the money by Friday I will be watching the footage and reporting to the police for further action. I hope this is not the case.”

Yahoo7 News has contacted Uber Eats to find out if the customer was offered a refund.
