What we know about the Andrew Tate sexual offences allegations
Tate, and his brother Tristan, are set to be extradited to the UK from Romania.
Andrew Tate is facing more allegations around sexual offences after being served with civil proceedings papers at his home in Romania.
Four women are bringing a case against Tate at the High Court in the UK after the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided not to prosecute in 2019, their lawyers said.
They allege Tate raped and assaulted them and are seeking “damages for injuries they suffered as a result”. Three of the British accusers were the subject of an investigation by Hertfordshire Constabulary which was closed in 2019.
These are the latest allegations aimed at Tate.
A court in Romania ruled last month that a trial can start in the influencer’s separate human trafficking case, which also accuses him of rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. Tate, 37, is accused alongside his 35-year-old brother Tristan Tate. The men were initially arrested in December 2022 near Bucharest.
The Tates also face extradition to the UK after the proceedings in Romania, after Bedfordshire Police secured a European arrest warrant for additional, separate allegations of rape and human trafficking.
Those allegations, which the two brothers “unequivocally deny”, date back to 2012-2015.

What is Andrew Tate accused of in the UK?
On Wednesday, lawyers for four British women confirmed they were launching a civil case against Tate.
Law firm McCue Jury and Partners said all four women allege Tate raped and physically assaulted them in 2014/2015 and are seeking “damages for injuries they suffered as a result”.
Three of the British accusers were the subject of an investigation by Hertfordshire Constabulary. The Hertfordshire investigation was closed in 2019.
A statement said: “After a four-year investigation, Hertfordshire Police sent the case to the CPS for a charging decision. In 2019, the CPS decided not to prosecute. Despite additional evidence, the CPS have declined the women’s recent requests to review its decision.”
In March, it emerged Bedfordshire Police had secured a European arrest warrant for allegations of rape and human trafficking. The force said it was working with authorities in Romania as part of an investigation into the Tate brothers.
In a statement, Bedfordshire Police said: “As part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of rape and human trafficking, Bedfordshire Police has obtained a European arrest warrant for two men in their 30s.
"We understand this is a distressing subject, and people may be impacted by what they are seeing in the news. Bedfordshire Police takes all reports of sexual offences seriously, and further support is available via our website or by calling 101.
"Anyone with information about this specific investigation should call 101, and quote Operation Moonwalk."
A representative for the Tate brothers said they “unequivocally deny all allegations”, and are “fully committed to challenging these accusations with unwavering determination and resolve”.
Tates’ representative said in a previous statement: “This bewildering revival of decade-old accusations has left the Tate brothers dismayed and deeply troubled.
“They categorically reject all charges and express profound disappointment that such serious allegations are being resurrected without substantial new evidence."
