Two people have been charged after paramedics rushing to a sick patient in Brisbane’s south were allegedly terrorised by a stolen car, forcing them to abandon the job.

Police allege a Toyota Kluger was spotted driving dangerously along the Gateway Motorway at Belmont, near Logan, about 6.30pm on Wednesday.

It was allegedly stolen from a Woodridge property the day before.

A short time later, the Toyota seen driving dangerously towards an ambulance vehicle en route to a job in Ormiston with lights and sirens activated.

A paramedic driving the vehicle was forced to abandon the job, travelling to the nearby Capalaba Police Station.

No one on-board was physically injured.

Around 7.15pm, the Toyota was found parked on Priestdale Rd at Rochedale South and police officers rushed to the scene.

A female passenger was taken into custody.

After further patrols, officers found the Toyota driver nearby.

The 34-year-old man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, injuring a police dog, obstructing police, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and using false plates.

He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday.

The 29-year-old Waterford West woman has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

She is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 27.
