Two daredevils have crept past security guards and scaled the Eiffel Tower without any harnesses or safety equipment, capturing the entire gut-wrenching climb on a drone camera.
Ivan Kuznetsov, 22, and another man named Aliham, 20, hid in the tower overnight, waiting for the right moment to start their adventure.
At 5:20am the following morning, the pair began the 985-foot climb up the famous structure.
A third man, 24-year-old Ivan Semenov, stayed on the ground to operate the drone, capturing heart-stopping footage of the thrill seekers balancing on narrow beams and hauling themselves high into the early morning fog.
A camera attached to one of the men’s beanies shows a vertigo inducing view from the top of the structure.
Holiday booking website Travel Ticker sponsored the climb, but warned other adrenaline junkies could be arrested or fined for copying the stunt.
Mr Kuznetsov has previously climbed some of the tallest skyscrapers in Asia and has named his unusual hobby “rooftopping”.
