This is the dramatic moment a wild cow attacks a little girl and her toddler brother in Bhatkal, south west India.
The CCTV footage, captured on February 13, shows the children playing outside their house in the Navilgone village.
Seconds later, a wild cow can be seen charging down the street.
Upon spotting the brother and sister, the bovine confronts the pair and corners them, before ramming into them.
Arati, 8, takes Kartik, 2, in her arms in an attempt to protect him from the cow, but the animal is undeterred and continues hitting the children with its horns.

After hearing the pair screaming, relatives and nearby residents appear and shoo the cow away with a stick.
The extent of any injuries the children might have received is not known.
