Young mother bashed with a baseball bat after Facebook feud takes violent turn
A young mother has been bashed with a baseball bat after a long-running Facebook feud erupted in real life.
Rhiannon McGann and two friends were at a Waterford West park in Queensland at around 10pm on Saturday night when they were confronted by a group armed with metal bats and golf clubs.
Their target was Ms McGann's friend Dylan, who suffered a broken arm.
The 23-year-old was hit repeatedly in the head when she tried to intervene.

"She stepped into fend him off or whatever but by the time we got back around to her to pick her up, she was on the ground," Dylan Hulett said.
Ms McGann remains in hospital with a fractured scull and face and a broken jaw.
A 20-year-old man and 16-year-old boy have been charged.
