Six people injured in NSW hot air balloon crash

Six people have been injured when at least one hot air balloon crash landed at Greta in the Hunter Valley.

A number of balloons were in the air when there was a change in the weather and the pilots decided to land.

One of the balloons, which was carrying 15 people at the time, clipped a bush on the way down, hitting the ground.

A 20-year-old woman is being treated with suspected spinal injuries while an 80-year-old woman has suspected fractures.

Four others suffered minor injuries.

A man on board one of the other hot air balloons says his also crash landed.
