Search underway for child missing off Port Macquarie beach
A search is underway for a teen missing in waters off the New South Wales mid-north coast.
The 14-year-old was last seen in the surf off Flynns Beach, Port Macquarie.
He's been missing for several hours but his name and age have not been released.
Marine Rescue NSW tweeted he had been swimming with two other teens who have since been rescued.
"Search and rescue vessels from our Port Macquarie and Camden Haven units have been activated," Marine Rescue NSW tweeted.
An extensive air and sea search will continue through the evening.
