Islamic extremists use Telegram because of its ability to hide a user's location as well as its encrypted messages.

On one well-known ISIS channel, a picture was shared of George at his new school in Battesea, London, with the caption "School starts early".

The post also allegedly contained several other words in Arabic that said: "When war comes with the melody of bullets, we descend on disbelief, desiring retaliation."

Security at George's school has already come under some scrutiny after a woman filmed herself trespassing inside the school unnoticed just days before the prince started school.

Another woman was arrested at the school on suspicion of attempted burglary.

The Metropolitan Police have said security efforts at the school will now be upped following the incidents.
