WATCH: Car's dangerous move to overtake group of cyclists on country road
The remarkable moment an enraged driver swerved dangerously off a rural road to pass a group of cyclists has been caught on camera.
The footage, captured by a member of the Australian Cycle Alliance, shows the car undertaking the group on a country road south of Perth on Monday.
With the white vehicle blocked by the pack of cyclists, the driver runs out of patience and mounts the grass at the side of the road, narrowly avoiding two horse riders nearby.
The cyclists themselves had veered to the middle of the road to give the horses ample space, with the two rear cyclists attempting to signal an upcoming hazard with hand gestures.
But the warning was to no avail as the car sped past before returning to the tarmac.
The clip has since been shared to YouTube, with several commenters divided as to who was in the wrong.
Many suggested the cyclists should have been cycling single file, and if not, closer together.

"Bicycles could have ridden single file and not taking the entire road and let faster vehicle pass safely ," one comment read.
But others defended the riders, reminding others the driver's manoeuvre is prohibited by road laws.
"The cyclists were doing nothing wrong, and were trying to draw the car's attention to the horses," another commenter wrote.
